We are a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Bristol, providing a wide range of personalised services to owner managed businesses. Hunter Accountants was previously a two-partner firm called Barnes Hunter, which was founded in 1995 by Chris Barnes and Mark Hunter.

The firm predominantly acts for companies, partnerships, and sole traders based in the South West of England. Through its Integra International connections it also looks after the UK subsidiary affairs of companies based in countries such as The USA, Canada, Singapore, France and Brataslavia.

Preparation of accounts:

You want your accounts prepared and sent to the Bank, Inland Revenue, Companies House etc so that you can forget them and concentrate on today’s issues.

We will send your draft accounts to you within 30 working days, provided you have supplied us with the information we require in the timeframe we agree.

Your accounts will be explained to you in plain English so that you understand them but, more importantly, we will highlight issues that could become real problems if not properly addressed.

Management Accounts:

Up to date and current financial information is often key to the smooth running of your business and can be helpful when it comes to making important decisions. We can provide reliable and timely management accounts for your business on either a monthly or quarterly basis.

We can prepare management accounts at intervals to suit your needs – whether monthly, quarterly or every six months – which can then be used to help with business planning and identifying any potential issues.

Our management accounts service also includes assistance with VAT returns.
