About the Business
Stephenson Nuttall is a progressive general practice accountancy firm with its roots deep in the business community of the East Midlands. The origins of the practice date back to 1863 but the firm was established in its existing format in 1938 when Tom Nuttall acquired the practice of Stephenson Nuttall & Co then operating from 22 Castle Gate, Newark. In 1968 the practice moved to its current location at 6-8 Castle Gate, Newark.
The practice has three partners, Sir Peter Parker, Tom Hudson and Adrian Haigh, who lead an experienced and professional team. We provide a complete range of taxation, accountancy and audit services for local businesses and individuals.
The practice benefits from an excellent reputation with all clients having direct contact with a partner. Our clients enjoy the way that complex issues are explained in plain language and are easily understood and speak of a business that is "friendly", "proactive" and "reliable".
