Gilroy & Brookes have been providing accountancy and financial management services to individuals, small and medium sized companies, partnerships, charities, clubs and associations since 1938.

Laurie qualified with Menzies Middleton Hawkins in Farnham before gaining post-qualification training with KPMG Thompson McLintock / KPMG Peat Marwick McLintock in Basingstoke. In 1989 he joined Gilroy & Brookes where he was made a Partner in 1990. He deals with a wide range of businesses from sole traders to small/medium-sized companies, and is the firm's specialist in computer accounting software and audit. The not-for-profit sector is also a special interest where he manages the accounts of residents associations, flat management companies, pension schemes, and charities.
