About the Business
B M Howarth was established in 1989 by Chris Bell and Roy Moorby under the trading name of 'Bell Moorby' Chartered Accountants. Using their experience of the different sectors of the accounting profession the practice growth was rapid. New local, national and international clients were attracted to B M Howarth by providing a high quality of Accounting and Taxation services at competitive rates.
The acquisition of K W Howarth in 1994, the recruitment of Simon Denny in 2001 and the acquisition of Matthews, Brooke, Taylor & Co in 2004 all proved to be key steps in building what has become a substantial local practice with 40 staff providing a wide range of specialist services.
With their central office at West House in Halifax, B M Howarth are ideally placed to provide Accountancy, Audit and Taxation services across Yorkshire, and have an extensive portfolio of private and corporate clients spanning the whole of the UK.
